The second volume of the dictionary "Place Names in the Kyustendil Region" includes over 4,000 place names from the Kyustendil region along with relevant information about them. The collected place names contain information about the language, history, archaeology and population movement, as well as about its material and spiritual culture. Many of them are associated with various traditions and legends. A map of the dialects in the Kyustendil region and the abbreviations used is included in the appendix. The phonetic characteristics of the names, explanations of their structure and grammatical features were published in the first volume, published by the Academic Publishing House "Prof. Marin Drinov" in 2008. The dictionary is of interest to linguists, historians, local historians and all curious Bulgarians.
