Summary
The collection "Language Resources and Technologies for the Bulgarian Language" contains studies and articles that present scientific and applied scientific results obtained within the framework of the participation of the Section of Computational Linguistics at the Institute of the Bulgarian Language at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in the international projects CESAR: Central and Southern European Language Resources and ATLAS: A System for Creating and Maintaining Content Based on Language Technologies.
A variety of language resources (monolingual and multilingual corpora, annotated and parallel corpora, dictionaries, lexical-semantic networks, etc.) and language processing programs are presented. Language resources and technologies are applicable in a variety of socially oriented software solutions and technological products - talking devices for the blind; programs for automatic summarization of multiple documents written in different languages; voice search applications; programs for automatic translation in specialized thematic areas and for various language pairs; intelligent assistants for extracting important information from the Internet, tailored to different user interests, and many others.
The publication is intended for researchers (linguists, computational linguists, mathematicians and computer scientists), private and business users of language resources and technologies, as well as for all those interested in modern language technologies.
